1 Day to Argolis

A visit to the Argolis region, which includew Mycenae, the plain of Argos, the bay of Nafplio and the famous for its remarkable acoustics theatre of Epidaurus.

Ancient Corynth

Leaving Athens we drive South West, until we reach the Corinth Canal, which connects the Aegean Sea with Ionian Sea (short stop). Drive on to visit the Ancient Town of Corinth.

Depart and pass by the OLYMPIC STADIUM to see the Athens 2004 Olympics main venue. Continue for the CORINTH CANAL (short stop). Drive to MYCENAE and visit the archaeological site and the tomb of Agamemnon (optional stop for souvenirs). After lunch through ARGOS proceed to Nafplia the first capital of modern Greece with its Venetian fortress of PALAMIDI and the fortified islet of BOURTZI (short stop). Continue to EPIDAURUS and visit the ancient theater, world famous for it's outstanding acoustics. Finally, drive along the coastal road of Saronic Gulf to Athens.

Afternoon panoramic tour of the Apollo Coast on the way to Cape Sounion for a visit to the temple of Poseidon.

Depart for a wonderful drive along the scenic coastal road which affords a splendid view of the Saronic Gulf, passing through some of Athens most beautiful suburbs (Glyfada, Vouliagmeni, Varkiza) to CAPE SOUNION where you will visit the 5th century B.C

Half Day City Tour of Athens.
Morning guided visit to Acropolis (visit Propylaea, Temple of Athena Nike, Parthenon, Erechthion and Museum of the Acropolis) and sightseeing tour of the Greek Parliament, tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Adrian’s Arch, Temple of the Olympian Zeus . Proceed to PANATHINAIKO STADIUM cradle of the first Olympic Games that took place in 1896 (short stop) Zappeion Gardens, the Royal Palace, the Stadium, Catholic Cathedral.


ATHENS BY NIGHT
Your evening will start with a ride to the port of Piraeus, passing by the port of Zea and a short stop at the famous Mikrolimano where you will enjoy a drink of Ouzo with Greek appetizers. Then you will drive back to Athens, to the old area of Plaka, for Dinner in a typical Greek Tavern with Bouzouki music and Greek Folk Dances.

Cruises to the islands of Aegina, Poros, Hydra.

Depart by bus to Paleon Phaleron( Trocadero Harbour).
Cruise to Aegina, Poros and hydra Islands with a short stop on each island.
Return in the evening and transfer by bus to Athens.
